Moelis Asset Management (formerly known as Moelis & Company Holdings LP) was formerly the parent of Moelis & Company LLC, a registered broker dealer. In connection with the initial public offering of the advisory business of the Moelis group, Moelis Asset Management retained ownership of its subsidiary entities at the time. Moelis & Company LLC became an indirect subsidiary of Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC). Moelis Asset Management and Moelis & Company are separate legal entities. Kenneth Moelis remains the ultimate controlling shareholder of both Moelis Asset Management and Moelis and Company. Moelis Asset Management is not registered with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) or any regulatory authority.
Archean Capital Partners
Archean Capital Partners is a joint venture between Moelis Asset Management and Veritable LP. Archean Capital Partners is registered with the SEC as a related adviser of Veritable LP.
Crossbeam Venture Partners
Crossbeam Venture Partners is a joint venture between Moelis Asset Management, CoVenture Holding LLC and Fenway Summer LLC. Crossbeam Venture Partners is registered with the SEC as an exempt reporting adviser.
DCP MAM LLC
DCP MAM LLC is a joint venture between David Capital Partners LLC and Moelis Asset Management LP. DCP MAM LLC is managed by David Capital Partners, which is registered as an investment adviser with the SEC under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Freeport Financial Partners, LLC
Freeport Financial Partners, LLC (FFP) is a middle market direct lending asset manager which was acquired by and became part of the asset management group of Moelis Asset Management in 2012. FFP is registered as an investment adviser with the SEC under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Gracie Asset Management
Gracie Asset Management (“Gracie”) is a multi-strategy credit manager which was acquired by and became part of the asset management group of Moelis Asset Management in 2010. Gracie is registered as an investment adviser with the SEC under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended.
Steele Creek Investment Management LLC
Steele Creek Investment Management LLC (Steele Creek) is a manager of Collateralized Loan Obligations (“CLOs”) and other broadly syndicated loan products which was acquired by and became part of the asset management group of Moelis Asset Management in 2013. Steele Creek is registered as an investment adviser with the SEC under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Third Crest Capital Partners
Third Crest Capital Partners is a newly formed adviser that became part of the asset management group of Moelis Asset Management in 2021. Third Crest is currently not registered with the SEC or any regulatory authority.
