Doug Applegate, CPA

Douglas Applegate is the Controller of Moelis Asset Management and is responsible for Moelis Asset’s finance and accounting and is Chief Financial Officer of Steele Creek Capital Corporation. He also serves as a senior member of the operations and structuring team of Archean Capital Partners, a joint venture between Veritable, L.P. and Moelis Asset. He joined Moelis Asset in 2015 and has over 15 years of asset management accounting experience. Prior to joining Moelis Asset, Doug held various positions at American Capital, Caxton Alternative Management and Credit Suisse handling the accounting and reporting functions for a variety of private equity funds, hedge funds and a publicly traded business development company. Doug began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP. Doug holds a CPA license and obtained a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.
